The Planeta Winery has a strong presence all over Sicily, making it one of the country’s biggest wine successes. Since the first vineyard opened in 1985, the Pleneta has expanded to include five wineries run by family members. Out of the lot, the Cantina di Ulmo is said to be the most beautiful to visit, where the vineyard is dedicated to producing only whites such as Cometa and Chardonnay.
