1. Hi Cissy, what inspired you to start the beauty brand? And why?
Frank Skincare did not start off as a business initially. As the founder, I had been developing the products for a year prior to the launch because I felt like I was running out of choices for my own personal skincare.
I was looking for something to treat my extreme combination, breakout-prone and increasingly sensitive skin. Having tried way too many different brands and products, I knew none of them genuinely worked for me.
At the same time, I became increasingly wary of all the unknown chemicals that were printed on the packaging of the products I was using — it was shocking to realise that I had been piling these toxic chemicals onto my body for decades.
I needed a true solution for my problems, and that was how Frank Skincare was birthed.
