Minimalist Designs
Preenk has a small collection of dresses online featuring simple designs, bubble skirts, toga dresses in filmy material as well as skater dresses. They are minimalistic pieces with a stoic colour palette of blacks and creams with the occasional pop of red or pastel yellow.
Preenk was started by two like-minded individuals. The duo comes up with the designs, mostly inspired by designer labels, before sending them to their factory in China for manufacturing.
“We travel overseas and perform quality checks on their workmanship before deciding on which manufacturers to work with,” they say.
Greater Plans for the Future
Preenk also intends to expand into more styles to include more quality and selected items such as blazers, tops, skirts, pants and denim. They are also working on a line for children.
“‘Less is more’ is definitely the core tenet of the brand. Elegance, class, sleek [sic] and simplicity should be in perfect harmony,” they say.
The two of them are trying to change the perception of blog shops being low quality to build a truly great online fashion experience.
