With the Singapore Jewelfest 2013 taking place from Oct 11 to 20 and the Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair from Oct 12 to 15, your senses will no doubt be assaulted by all things sparkly and beautiful. Here’s a brief guide to what you can catch at each exhibition.
Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair
La Vie Premium Ltd
This Hong Kong and China-based jeweller showcases a Snake Ring with black and white diamonds, and rubies set in a rose gold band.
Symbolic & Chase
British jeweller Symbolic & Chase will feature a French gem platinum Macaw brooch with calibre cut, buff-top sapphires, rubies and emerald and baguette-cut diamonds, circa 1920.
Heritage Gems
Singaporean jeweller Heritage Gems shows off its Tanzanite Necklace with a 45.2 carat Tanzanite, and 9 carat diamonds set in 18 carat white gold.
On Cheong Jewellery
Since its inception in 1936, On Cheong Jewellery has a reputation as a purveyor of unique designs. They showcase their Jade Ring with 169 diamonds, each 2.28 carats set in 750 white gold.
The Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair will take place at Marina Bay Sands.
Singapore JewelFEST 2013
Goldheart
Singaporean jeweller Goldheart presents three gorgeous showpieces for the Singapore Jewelfest 2013. The Royal Plush, The Bleu Mystic and the Lady Noblesse. Look out for the Bleu Mystic which features rare Tanzanites.
Lee Hwa Jewellery
Lee Hwa Jewellery shows off its Libero collection that features brilliant diamonds set in 18 carat white gold curves and complemented by liberal splashes of 19 carat purple gold.
Mouawad
The highlight of the Singapore Jewelfest 2013 is definitely the Asian debut of the L’Incomparable – the world’s largest internally-flawless diamond at 400 carats. In its original state the diamond was over 900 carats. It is valued at US$55 million and holds the Guinness World Record for “Most Valuable Necklace”.
The Singapore Jewelfest 2013 will take place at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.
