British model-actress Cara Delevingne displays her unapologetic quirks and wits in a four-part docuseries in collaboration with Puma.
The ‘Do You’ docuseries revolves around women’s empowerment and these women’s inspirational stories, where Delevingue visits refugee camps in Uganda, learns self-defence and speaks to bullying survivors over the course of the series.
Regarding the project, Delevingne said “This is one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in my life – it really was completely life changing. What affected me was watching these young women and seeing what their stories were, what they are struggling with. But what shocked me was their strength, and it inspired me to created this docuseries with Puma, because I wanted to do more to five women a platform where they can their own stories.”
Along with the empowering series, Delevingne flexes her design muscles to fashion out two sets of laces, featuring the campaign tagline and uplifting words and phrases, for the Basket Heart sneakers, the sale of which will support The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). The latest drop from its Autumn/Winter 2017 includes a Toreador Red leather upper and a complementary white PUMA Formstripe and outsole.
