Can we get three cheers for national pride? It must be fate that this Little Red Dot fits right in on the red carpet, what with global celebrities parading our local products and giving our brands a well-deserved boost.

Here are 10 Singaporean labels that have been seen on international actors, models and the like, in Hollywood and beyond.

3. Tiger Beer: Jessica Alba, Jackie Chan & Wayne Rooney

It’s true what they say – the exported batches of Tiger Beer are tastier than the ones we get in our kopitiams. Overseas, the brand is regarded as a premium Asian brew, and has won more than 40 international awards.

Like its namesake, Tiger Beer is aggressive, particularly in its product placement and promotional efforts. It’s been seen in movies like Tropic Thunder and The Accidental Spy, the latter in which Jackie Chan takes a swig of it.

In 2005, actress Jessica Alba starred in a series of Tiger Beer commercials, making it the first Singaporean brand to be endorsed by a Hollywood celebrity. Manchester United player Wayne Rooney was also a face of the brand.
