Like a formidable dragon rising, a powerhouse of Asian designers are making waves across the globe.

In honour of these talents, this year's Singapore Fashion Week will present its first-ever all-Asian designer line-up, including Chinese haute couturier Guo Pei.

Happening from 26 to 30 October, the festival will bring a host of excitement to fashion-watchers here in Singapore and globally.

3. Industry-support platform

New this year is the Singapore Fashion Week Access (SGFWA), a industry-support platform created to provide more accessible opportunities for designers and businesses to exhibit their collections, in the form of smaller scale, flexible-format fashion presentations.

The inaugural SGFWA will also see the participating designers under Fashion Futures 2.0 — Danelle Woo of Aijek, Elyn Wongof Stolen and Max Tan of MAX.TAN — present their first solo SGFW shows.

Showing at the fashion week for the first time are Singapore-based independent fashion brand Chi Chi Von Tang (pictured above) and new womenswear label Nude Femme.
