There will be parenting experts and special speakers for the Rise & Shine event from Sep 27 to 29 at Suntec Convention Hall 401. Parenting talks cost $20 and are limited to 40 participants, and the keynote speech costs $30
Heidi Murkoff
Author off the world’s bestselling pregnancy and parenting series, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”. She has 40 million books sold in 40 languages globally with a thriving, global website and other brand extensions including a video, a major motion picture. In May 2012, Lionsgate released a film adaptation of What to Expect When You’re Expecting, starring Cameron Diaz.

Dr William Sears
Dr Sears, or Dr Bill as his “little patients” call him, is the father of eight children as well as the author of over 30 books on childcare. Dr Bill is an Associate Clinical Professor of Paediatrics at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine.

Dr Thomas Armstrong
Dr Thomas Armstrong is the author of 15 books including Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom, In Their Own Way, Awakening Your Child’s Natural Genius, 7 Kinds of Smart, The Myth of the ADD Child and Awakening Genius in the Classroom. His books have been translated into 26 languages.

Associate Professor Daniel Goh Yam Thiam
Associate Professor Daniel Goh was trained in paediatrics in Singapore and underwent subspecialty training in paediatric pulmonology and sleep at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Centre. His clinical interests include childhood respiratory conditions, including childhood asthma and allergies, sleep-related breathing disorders in children, paediatric bronchology and fibre-optic bronchoscopy as well as paediatric vaccinology.

Mrs Carmee Lim
Carmee Lim is the Mentor Principal of MindChamps and Former Principal of Raffles Girls’ School. She is a champion advocate for music, movement and gymnastics in early childhood. Carmee is the founder of Aoede Music Enterprise, which aims to give children the “Gift of music for a Lifetime” by integrating music with technology to make music-making fun and enjoyable.
