The story follows Amir, a successful Pakistani-American lawyer who seems to have it all: a luxurious lifestyle, a loving American wife, and a flourishing career. However, his carefully constructed world unravels during a dinner party with friends, exposing the deep-rooted racial and cultural tensions simmering beneath his seemingly perfect life.
