1. Bite into an oozing french toast
If you’re not bored of salted egg yolk yet, here’s another decadent creation to try — Toast Box’s newly launched Golden Lava French Toast ($2.80).
Slice into the golden brown french toast and you’ll find molten salted egg yolk custard flowing out. While the flavours are not mind blowing, it will certainly hit the spot if you’re craving for something salty-sweet.
Available at Toast Box outlets.

2. Have double the indulgence
Here’s what we’re clearing out our freezers for: The premium Magnum Doubles ice cream ($10.90 for a box), which comes in Double Chocolate and Double Peanut Butter.
The latter is our pick. Smooth peanut butter ice cream is dipped in cocoa and enveloped in peanut butter sauce, before being coated in the signature Magnum chocolate shell for a truly indulgent treat.
Available at supermarkets, convenience stores and more.

3. Try fish ‘n chips in five different flavours
From June 1-July 31, visit Manhattan Fish Market to enjoy your favourite Fish n’ Chips (from $13.95) in five exciting flavours.
The classic British dish has been re-interepreted to feature popular flavours like Salted Egg Yolk, Honey Soy and Turkey Bacon sauce, paired with fish like black cod, barramundi and cherry snapper.
4. Visit the Ehime Food & Sake Fair
Considering how much Singaporeans love Japanese cuisine, Emporium Shokuhin’s Ehime Food & Sake Fair is a must-visit.
Held from June 2-26, the fair will offer diners and shoppers a greater insight into this lesser-known Japanese prefecture. There will be premium sake, alongside specialty produce such as dried mikan, made with the quality citrus fruit; and Aji fry, individually-frozen and breaded Japanese mackerel that tastes excellent deep-fried.

10. Try out dragon boating – without use of sight or hearing
At this year’s DBS Marina Regatta, you can put yourself in the shoes of adaptive paddlers – deaf and visually impaired athletes.
Using an ergometer, you can go through one of two dragon boat race simulations – like an immersive amusement park ride, but with an important lesson on inclusivity and compassion. For every simulation you try, DBS will donate $50 to organisations that support the physically disabled.
