The previous Beach Beats Fest, which was announced to be cancelled and featured “Uptown Funk” singer Mark Ronson, has been relocated to Zouk and renamed “We the Citizens Fest”.
Held as a National Day music festival on 9 Aug from 4pm-11pm, We the Citizens Fest will still bring in international headliners including Ronson (UK), Ta-Ku (Australia), Sam Feldt (Netherlands) and Hayden James (Australia).
Mark Ronson, singer of “Uptown Funk”, will headline the Zouk Mainroom on 9 Aug.
It will also feature local talents Charlie Lim, and Velvet Underground’s veteran resident DJs Andrew Tang and Matthew. Meanwhile, Phuture will transform into an intimate movie-screening space featuring curated local movies.
Zouk will also be having pre- and post-National Day nights, consisting of the yearly tradition of Mambo on 8 Aug and the red-white themed TGIW on 10 Aug.
The festival is a collaboration between Zouk Singapore and Ismaya Live. This is a 16+ only event.
Tickets for entry to the Zouk main room will be going for $51, while entry to Velvet Underground – Dance and Phuture will be free of charge.
We the Citizens Fest will be held on 9 Aug, 4pm-11pm, at Zouk Singapore. More information and ticketing details here.
