Fans of Chow Yun Fat, Aaron Kwok and Eddie Peng are in for a treat next month. On 5 and 6 Jul, the trio will be visiting Marina Bay Sands for a series of activities to promote upcoming Hong Kong police blockbuster, Cold War 2.
The main event open to public will the red carpet at the Skating Rink on 6 Jul, starting at 8pm. At 9pm, they will make their way to the Gala Premiere of Cold War 2 at Sands Theatre.

Before that, at 11.30am, Kwok and Peng will be selecting fans’ questions to answer during a 30-minute ‘live’ chat session on Encore Films’ Facebook page. Fans can send in their questions in the comments to be answered.
Cold War 2 takes off in a more action-packed and adrenaline-pumped direction after the first movie. It follows the aftermath of “Cold War”, the codename for a risky rescue operation led by Acting Police Commissioner Sean Lau (Kwok).

Peng plays Joe Lee, the main suspect of the crime, who is captured. The case however remains unsolved, and amidst Lau’s investigations, his family is threatened. Lau now faces an impeachment proceeding that includes Osward Kan (Chow) – an influential senior counsel and member of the judicial council – but it is unknown whether he is friend or foe.
Look forward to a showdown of the veterans – both on screen as well as at the red carpet event next month.
Cold War 2 will be released in cinemas on 8 Jul.
