Beware the fearsome… Cheespider!

The sequel to popular animation Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs features old characters and new ones for more mouth-watering fun

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s mouth-watering comedy left off in the first part.

Quirky inventor Flint Lockwood thought that he had saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention – a machine that turned water into food, causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes.

Flint soon learns that his invention had survived and is now creating “foodimals” – food animals.

Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission to battle hungry “tacodiles”, “shrimpanzees”, “hippotatomuses”, “cheespiders” and other foodimals to save the world – again.

More Hijinks

“I love the world of Cloudy. Of all the films I’ve worked on, Cloudy is my favourite. So to get the chance to go back and revisit the characters in this new, crazy world that we were developing made this a really exciting project for me,” says Co-Director Cody Cameron, who directs the film with Kris Pearn.

It’s back to Swallow Falls, with Flint and all of his friends in tow, to try to stop the dastardly food creatures before they attack
the world.

All Together Again

Bill Hader brings a silly and cartoon-like energy to his portrayal of Flint Lockwood.

“It’s great to be back in the spray-on shoes of Flint Lockwood. In fact, it seems like I never left him behind: Every month or so, I get to come into the booth and do Flint’s voice for a bit. I love it,” says Hader.

Flint’s sidekick Sam Sparks is voiced by Anna Faris, who brings a warmth and energy to the character.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is a fun and food-filled romp for the whole family.
