This Kickstarter-funded film [with funds coming from web visitors who donated to the project] is brilliantly brought to life with a cast that almost everybody would be interested to see.
Little Girl Lost
Once a demure Disney show princess, Lindsay Lohan now takes on the role of the illustrious plaything of a movie producer. One cannot help but feel that her character in The Canyons is on the verge of autobiographical.
Lohan is also one of the show’s co-producers. Somehow, this is not surprising considering her talent. Still, it remains to be seen if Lohan can get her life back on track after all her troubles and to get less seedy roles.
Adult Film Exemplar
Real-life adult film star James Deen plays Christian, the hot young movie producer who makes movies just for the fun of it. Throughout the movie, Christian plots his revenge against his cheating girlfriend, Tara, and her lover.
Nonetheless, that is hardly the big seller for the film. With ridiculously good-looking Deen and the foxy Lohan as the show’s main leads, in an already erotic script, The Canyons is sure to engage adventurous moviegoers and artsy fanatics.
Or, it is great if you just want to ogle at the stars.
