Watching a movie at Golden Village Tiong Bahru is now a breeze with new automated cinematic amenities

After months of eager anticipation, Golden Village Tiong Bahru reopened its doors today to the delight of residents both young and old. For many in the older generation who have lived in Tiong Bahru their whole life, this cinema marks the spot where they first fell in love with movies.
GV Tiong Bahru is the last GV cinema to go through major upgrades in recent years. The new multiplex features five halls and has 789 ergonomic Grandeur cinema seats and 11 handicapped seats. The cinema halls have also been equipped with Induction Loop, a piece of technology that makes it easier for the hearing impaired to appreciate a movie’s audio.
“Easy, express and efficient”
With the new renovations, GV aims to make the ticketing and entry process as quick and hassle-free as possible. Most cinema goers are already familiar with the Quick Tix® QR code that is sent to their mobile phones which allows express entry.
The new theater also has a dedicated pick- up counter for food and beverage which have been pre-ordered online, allowing you to skip the endless snack queue that often cause you to miss the first part of a movie.
Opening promotions
From now to Sep 30, GV Tiong Bahru moviegoers who book tickets using the Automated Ticketing Machines stand a chance o win exciting prizes like an iPad Pro 128GB, $500 worth of AsiaMalls Vouchers, $1,500 worth of travel vouchers or a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display.
Residents of Tiong Bahru will also be getting an exclusive flyer in their mailbox which gives them $2 off every ticket. For people not living in Tiong Bahru, they will be able to get $2 off every ticket when they purchase up to four tickets online or through the mobile booking app, iGV.
