To see

1. Rare Hermès collections on exhibition

At this exhibition, you’ll no longer be staring at $20,000 leather bags you can’t afford. Instead, you’ll be staring at expensive leather items that aren’t even on the market, from a Hermès winged saddle to jewellery pieces that haven’t even been launched yet. What a treat for every fashion aficionado and leather lover in Singapore.

2. A musical that’s been banned here for 30 years

After 30 years of being kept away from our shores, the provoking and controversial “A Clockwork Orange” show is finally making its debut here. This 50-year-old theatre ‘horror’ show captures the violent yet stimulating spirit of Anthony Burgess’ original literary masterpiece.

3. A show that’s sweet, a children’s treat

The fantastical, bombastical and songtastical world of Dr. Seuss, one of the most celebrated children’s book authors, is coming to life on stage for this weekend.

It will be a spectacular compilation of whimsical elements, characters and delightful verses from Dr Seuss classics like “Horton Hears a Who”, “Green Eggs and Ham” and “The Cat in the Hat”.

To do

1. Go on an “urgent” run or a “sleep-walk”

If you’re unmotivated by simple marathons and walkathons, you’ll want to try these out. There’s an Urgent Run coming up where you’ll get to doll up in sanitation-themed “fancy dress”, and a sleep-walk event featuring a carnival filled with sleep-related games. The only way to find out what those really are is to head down to these events.

2. Stand a chance to meet your favourite Man U and Liverpool players

Football fanatics, what a time to be alive! Courts is holding a fan meet-and-greet session for customers to meet Manchester United and Liverpool legends Lee Sharpe, Keith Gillespie, Jerzy Dudek and Jari Litmanen.

To earn invitations to this session on Nov 14, simply make a minimum purchase at Courts (in-store or online).

Now’s probably a good time to get some new electronics too.
