2. The Last Supper
Written and directed by pioneering Egyptian independent theatre director and playwright Ahmed El Attar, The Last Supper is a dark comedic take on the family life of affluent Egyptians post-Arab Spring. As the characters gather around the dinner table, a feast of nihilism, absurdity and apathy is served.
