7. Annihilation
This sci-fi thriller packs stunning visuals that are both dazzling and disturbing at the same time. You’ll be holding your breath as you follow the group of scientists navigate “Area X,” an alien-invaded and quarantined territory where everyone who’s entered it has mysteriously never returned. Based on a novel of the same name, the movie features powerful performances by an all-star cast, including Natalie Portman, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, and Oscar Isaac.
