It’s time to dance with Lady Luck as the ticket applications for this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) are now opened.
Held at the Marina Bay’s floating platform, 2018’s NDP will put on a memorable show for its countrymen, featuring aerial displays by the Republic of Singapore Air Force, the grand arrival of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Parachute Team aka the Red Lions, and also the angelic voices of the Combined Schools choir after the crowd favourite took a five-year hiatus. For the first time, naval combat divers will make an appearance during the procession, entertaining the crowds by performing a water jump – a skill trained in the military.
Singaporeans and Permanent Residents can apply for two, four or six tickets to two previews and the actual day parade from now until 6 June. The two previews will be held on 28 July and 4 August, while the actual NDP on 9 August. Applicants are to note that the lower the number of tickets applied for increases chances of successfully obtaining them.
Limited to each application regardless of the mode used, you may apply for the tickets by submitted online, at SAM/AXS stations or through Short Message Service (SMS).
For SMS, you may send a message to 71715 with the format: <NRIC number>SPACE<number of tickets>SPACE<NDP/P1/P2>SPACE<mobile number>
Successful applicants will be notified from June 25 to July 2 via SMS through the contact number provided in their application.
