6. See a finger-puppet play of “Journey to the West”
Adapted from a classical Chinese epic, “Journey to the West: Treasures from the Dragon Palace” is the story of Sun Wukong the Monkey King, his master Xuanzang and his friend Pigsy. Watch the legendary story of the Monkey King come alive through an array of traditional hand puppets and puppetry techniques.
You will also be invited to participate in an interactive hands-on segment to learn more about the evolution of traditional hand puppetry and its techniques.
