Mizuno Ekiden 2016 will be taking place on 16 Jul and besides the marathon, visitors can look forward to a full-fledged Japanese carnival at the Matsuri Race Village.
In Japanese terms, Matsuri refers to a festival or a holiday. At this year’s race village, a wide array of Japanese food and beverages would be available for one to enjoy along with traditional Japanese games, and arts and crafts station.
You can even put on a sumo-suit and take part in a sumo challenge, or just chill and enjoy the beat of the Taiko drums in the background.
