3. Stand Up Paddling

An up-and-coming water sport that’s been gaining popularity is Stand Up Paddling (SUP). Having originated from Hawaii as an offshoot of surfing, SUP requires you to balance on a long board and propel by means of a double bladed oar.

While it requires a shorter learning curve compared to other board sports, beginners will find it a test of their balance and core strength.
