6. Watch mermaids swim with manatees
The month of September is abuzz with exciting activities at the River Safari. For starters, the river cruise has joined forces with lifestyle brand tokidoki to debut 10 life-sized Mermicorno sculptures, including Submarino, Jade and Fortuna, that will be stationed at different points of the park. At the Amazon Flooded Forest, marvel at mermaid performers swim gracefully alongside adorable manatees, red-tailed catfish, and arapaimas at scheduled timings . Each performance is 20 minutes long. Finally, participate in River Safari’s new tours that allow you to get up-close with the river inhabitants such as manatees and more!
