5. Make this weekend all about family
On 1 and 2 September, Families for Life has brought back its highly-successful My Family Weekend, featuring fun activities for the whole family to participate together. This year’s programmes will take place at Singapore Botanic Gardens and Circular Road on 1 and 2 September respectively. The former sees to a fun picnic, from 3.30pm onwards, where families can come down and set up their picnic mats at the sprawling grass space in front of Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage. There’ll be activities such making your own tote bags and more games at the Mobile Cafe, before unwinding with some tunes from a lineup of live performances that are set to take the stage. On 2 September from 12pm onwards, Circular Road will feature a myriad of free activities and performances that will tickle the fancy of the young and the young-at-heart, like puppet-making, or having a bouncy good time on Families for Life Bouncy Castles at the UOB Promenade.
