Here are some must-do activities to celebrate Singapore National Day.

This year’s National Day concert at Gardens by the Bay promises an unforgettable experience. For the first time, it will feature a live performance of the NDP 2024 theme song, “Not Alone” by Benjamin Kheng.
Themed “Our Home, Our Heart, Our Singapore,” the event includes an impressive lineup of local artists, family-friendly activities, and a dazzling fireworks display. Highlights include performances by Olivia Ong, debuting her new song “Azure” and singing “如燕 (Like a Swallow),” as well as appearances by Shabir and Yung Raja. The concert will also feature past NDP theme songs like “Stronger Together” and “Breathing City,” performed by former Singapore Idol winners, alongside performances by Liu Ling Ling, Rahimah Rahim, John Klass, and rising stars from Mediacorp’s reality shows.
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Ms. Jane Ittogi will deliver the pledge in sign language, accompanied by members of the Singapore Association for the Deaf.
The concert will be held from 4:30pm onwards on Sunday, August 4, at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay. It will also air on Mewatch, Channel 5, and Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube on Sunday, August 17, from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.
