14. Learn more about social issues through Instagrammable pop-up art installations

Many art installations make you think, but not many do so through exhibits designed for the ‘gram. You can expect such a unique experience at Coming Together As One Through Art, a series of four pop-up art installations organised by the Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF). Happening from 7 to 30 September, at the area outside the Mandarin Gallery, the series will look at various social issues that have been plaguing communities past and present. How much of a change can the community bring when they come together for a common goal? Find out about the different community self-help organisations formed over the years, at this stimulating installation. The first part of the art installation series will focus on the social issues surrounding money, and the credit co-operatives that have risen from it. So what’s so Instagrammable about it? The installation features creative spaces from mirror rooms to the exterior façade, you can share a beautiful photo with your friends of your thoughtful learning experience.
