7. KidzWorld’s Opening in Singapore Zoo
The newly unveiled KidzWorld, also known as the Home of the Ranger Buddies, has been introduced at the Singapore Zoo. Covering a sprawling one-hectare area, KidzWorld serves as an enhancement to the Singapore Zoo’s rich 50-year tradition of offering children and their families a dynamic educational environment for engaging with animals and enjoying ample playtime. It’s a place where education and enjoyment converge, and the experiences have been thoughtfully crafted to ignite and nurture a deep appreciation for animals, wildlife, and nature. This encompasses interactive play, interactions with animals, and the addition of a new water maze to elevate the fun factor.
KidzWorld is also home to the Ranger Buddies, an edutainment program with the goal of cultivating each child into a future-ready and responsible global citizen who can drive positive change for themselves, others, and the world. With the recently introduced Ranger Buddies Quest, featuring unique interactive park experiences, children can embark on physical missions from the Base Camp to visit various outposts, armed with smart binoculars and a companion app. Within KidzWorld, there are currently three outposts where children can delve deeper into topics like animal health, animal care, and animal nutrition. Additional quest missions and outposts will be gradually introduced in the months to come, leading the Ranger Buddies on exciting adventures within the Singapore Zoo and River Wonders.
