It’s your last chance this weekend to dive into the still waters of Xu Hua Xin’s paintings. The esteemed contemporary Chinese artist is currently showcasing his work in a solo exhibition at the ION Orchard Art Gallery until 30 September. Using just ink, rice paper and water, his paintings are deceptively simple and minimalist. A highlight of the exhibition is the mesmerising eight-metre tall painting that draws you right into the tranquillity of traditional Chinese art.
