4. Savour on some delightful Salted Egg crisps at the first ever Irvins Block Party
The dangerously addictive salted egg yolk chips that most of us should know of, has come a long way since the days when it was just featured at pop-up stands. Now with three outlets around Singapore, Irvins Salted Egg is back with a limited edition bag of crisps. Dubbed the Salted Egg Trio ($8 per pack) consisting of the three signature flavours of Potato, Fish Skin and Cassava, the conception of the idea came from wanting to represent Singapore’s melting pot of cultures in line with National Day. The homegrown food company is also hosting a block party situated at Plaza Singapura’s main atrium from now till 12 August to launch this product and the return of the Saiko Butter Brew. The latter is a butterscotch-infused soda topped off with a layer of sweet, aromatic cream. Fans of the much-adored soda can be excited for its return after making its debut appearance in ArtBox earlier in the year. The butter brew ($45) retails exclusively at the Irvins outlet at Plaza Singapura.
