2. Witness more aerial displays by The RSAF at the Marina Barrage
Celebrating its golden jubilee this year, after what is their 50th year protecting Singapore skies, The RSAF is putting up a half an hour aerial display at the Marina Barrage this weekend from 11 to 12 August, to thank Singaporeans for their unwavering support towards them. If you and your family are still reeling from the show put up for Singapore’s 53rd birthday, head on down to catch The RSAF in action again. Feast your eyes on the 19 RSAF combat and four Singapore Youth Flying Club aircraft during the sequential flypast in five separate formations. There will also be a Helicopter Aerial Display involving Apache helicopters in 10 aerial manoeuvres, a Fighter Aerial Display and a Finale Bomb Burst by a couple of F-15SG fighter aircraft. The shows will take place from 10am and 230pm each day, members of the public are encouraged to wear blue and to come by public transport.
