6. Hair for Hope 2024
Hair for Hope (HfH) is a signature event by the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) in Singapore. It’s the nation’s only head-shaving campaign that raises awareness and funds to combat childhood cancer. This year’s theme, “Hope is Yours to Give,” emphasizes the power of individual action in making a positive difference for children and families battling the disease.
Hair for Hope 2024 is back with a powerful message: “Hope is Yours to Give.” This year, the event is proud to have beloved local celebrity Gurmit Singh as its ambassador. Singh shows his support by shaving his head in solidarity with children battling cancer. Adding even more weight to the cause, Singapore’s Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for Health, Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, will also be the Guest of Honour.
Mark your calendars! The event takes place on 27 and 28 July 2024 at Vivocity. This year’s campaign aims to rally the community and create a stronger support system for children fighting cancer.
