5. Imbibe on Vietnamese Beers till late
Beer-guzzlers, this one’s for you. On 26 February, come on down to SPRMRKT to taste free-flowing draught beers from Pasteur Street Brewing Company from 5:30pm to 7:30pm ($30 per pax). The brewery uses Vietnamese ingredients to make its offerings of Passion Fruit Wheat Ale and Coffee Porter, which you can drink up in between bites of Vietnamese canepes. Brewmaster Dave Byrn will also be present to not only join in on the revelry, but also satisfy the curious on his journey of launching Pasteur Street Brewing Company. If you’re still thirsty for more beer knowledge, Byrn will be holding a 45-minute craft beer workshop the next day (27 January) at 4pm, 6pm, 8pm ($40 per pax), where a hearty discussion about the brewery realm is set to take place. The soiree will include a tasting flight of beers, accompanied by Vietnamese street food canapes.
