If you’ve longed for the arts to be accessible near you, get excited – a bunch of exciting arts activities and performances are coming right to your neighbourhood this month! Organised by the National Arts Council, Arts In Your Neighbourhood has been going on since 8 November. This weekend will be your last chance to join in the creative cultural delights. Highlights include a re-enactment of regional folk tales (Rama & Sita and Badang, The Strong Man) through dance, on 24 November, at 888 Plaza; a puppet show called “The Rubbish Prince” at Woodlands Crescent Park on 24 November, and Woodlands Waterfront Park on 25 November; and a contemporary dance performance that plays with sound, on 24 November at Bedok Town Square.
