8. Gorge on durian-everything
Durian lovers, get ready to indulge in a durian feast at The Line! From now until 31 August, Shangri-la Hotel’s extensive buffet restaurant is bringing back its popular durian buffet during dinnertime, from 6pm to 10pm, on all days except Mondays. You can enjoy a wide range of both sweet and savoury durian-inspired dishes, including durian fried rice, durian miso-glazed scallops, durian crab, durian prata, and durian tarts and puddings. The buffet will feature three actual durian varieties – Hong Xia (red prawn), D21 and D24 – alongside other favourite tropical fruits such as rambutan, longan and mangosteen. Want to mix it up with other signature dishes at The Line? Go for the standard weekend dinner buffets from Tuesdays to Sundays, which will also include the exciting durian and local fruits spread.
