10. Contemplate: A Solo Exhibition by Jason Lim

#supportlocal and indulge your art-loving selves, by heading down to Gajah Gallery for CONTEMPLATE, a solo exhibition by renowned Singaporean ceramist and performance artist Jason Lim. Known both locally and internationally for his works, Jason was selected to be part of the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2007, as well as featured in numerous solo and group shows across Australia, Asia, Europe, Canada and the United States.

CONTEMPLATE features a series of ceramic experimentations that focuses on small, chance found items- tree branches, rocks and stones; the mundane and trivial items that are often relegated to insignificance. Creating sculptures which look like, and function as landscapes, Jason aims to remind us of the richness found in nature, evoking wonderment, reflection and contemplation.
