6. Try an XO-infused burger
Best known as one of the finalists in the inaugural season of MasterChef Asia, Lennard Yong has teamed up with gourmet American burger joint 25 Degrees to create a locally-inspired burger to mark the establishment’s birthday. This collaboration brings forth the XOXO Burger ($14) with its key component being the housemade XO sauce. Also blended with shrimp paste, the spiked sauce slathers 25 degree’s classic turkey patty before topping it with arugula. Sandwiched between butter-grilled brioche buns, the burger is finally served with pickled cucumber, butterhead lettuce, tomato and onions on the side. The XOXO Burger will be available until 31 Aug.
