Are you able to hear colour, or see sound? Do you know someone who can? That’s the fascinating phenomenon of synaesthesia, a condition of the brain that allows one’s senses to cross over to another. Find out more about this fascination biological phenomenon at “This Is Your Brain on Art: Synaesthesia and Poetry,” a creative night held at LASALLE on 12 October, from 7:30pm. Part of the Lit Up Asia-Pacific Festival 2018, the event kicks off with an interactive lecture on synaesthesia by NTU’s brain scientist, and follows up with stimulating poetry readings by our award-winning local poets.
Admission is free, and you can register here.
