With tons of indie shops and its unique architecture, it’s no wonder Tiong Bahru is always on the top of Singapore’s travel guides.
Recently, this old neighbourhood has turned into a hipster hotspot that locals and expatriates both love. But sites of our local heritage have survived the gentrification and continue to bring joy to the nostalgic. 8. Tiong Bahru Adventure Playground
Located at the heart of Tiong Bahru Park, this unique playground is the perfect place for little ones and the young at heart. Hop on the huge train structure for a fun ride in the tilting cabins. The playground is currently closed for upgrading, but don’t fret! It will be back very soon on 31 July, perhaps with even more exciting features!
