5. BooksActually and Woods in the Books

After the unfortunate shutdown of Borders, Page One and more chain bookstores, it’s more important than ever to support local indie bookstores. So start by dropping two of Singapore’s best and oldest – BooksActually, home to the largest collection of local literature, and Woods in the Books, which specialises in picture books. Don’t miss the chance to visit the three adorable cats that reside at BooksActually! The painted walls outside both bookstores will also add a whimsical touch to your photographs.
