4. Tiong Bahru Market

Need a break from pricer hipster food? Kick back with local classics at the Tiong Bahru Market. Its renovation in 2017 did not diminish the quality of the stalls, which continue to serve up delicious comfort food at low prices. The market also houses two vegetarian stalls. Some favourite stalls are 178 Lor Mee, Min Nan Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle, and Teck Seng Soya Bean Milk. You can also get your grocery shopping done at the wet market, open from early morning until 1pm.
