Pokémon Takes Over The Singapore Cable Car!

Commemorate 50 years of delightful experiences on the Singapore Cable Car with Pokémon-themed cable cars from 1 May to 30 September 2023.

Visitors to Mount Faber Peak, Harbourfront and Sentosa can catch a glimpse of a rare sight. An eye-catching line of 67 Poké Ball cabins soaring 100 metres above sea level. The exteriors of cable car cabins on the Mount Faber Line will be wrapped in the iconic red and white colours of Poké Balls.

What about the interior? There are five unique interior designs, each one inspired by first-generation Pokémon characters like the beloved Pikachu and Eevee. If you are playing the latest video game, you can also spot Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Team Weekender grew up with the first generation Pokémon. Haha!

Other experiences that you can expect when you take the cable car include:
– Spot 12 Pokémon creative standees that stretch from the arrival area (1st floor) to the cable car station (2nd floor)
– Catch the dazzling array of multicoloured lights newly installed at Mount Faber Station, Harbourfront Station, and Sentosa Station when you ride with them at night
– Snap pictures at various photo points—including vintage cable car cabins—with a variety of Pokémon like Pikachu, Pichu, Snorlax, and – Psyduck to capture beautiful memories

The Cable Car Gift Shop is also fully stocked with plenty of Pokémon collectables at Imbiah Lookout and Mount Faber Peak.

Tickets to the Singapore Cable Car are available at counters and online at the regular price of S$35 for adults and S$25 for children aged between 4 and 12 for a round-trip ride on the Mount Faber Line and Sentosa Line. Visitors can also choose to do a S$10 top-up for one-day unlimited rides. Children aged 3 and below ride for free.

Mount Faber Line cable car tickets and bundles will also entitle visitors to receive a complimentary collectable Pokémon-themed sun visor. While stocks last. The visors are available in four designs—Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
