If your kids are still humming the Pokémon theme song and your camera roll is 90% weekend outings, there’s a new family adventure calling — and this time, it’s in the sky.
After a wildly popular 2023 run that went on to clinch Licensee of the Year at the Franchising and Licensing Asia Awards 2025, the Pokémon-themed cable cars are making a comeback. From 22 November 2025 to 30 April 2026, the Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure presented by Singapore Cable Car transforms the Mount Faber Line into a floating playground for fans of all ages.

By Day: Cute, Colourful and Incredibly Instagrammable
Start your journey at Mount Faber Peak, where the anticipation builds even before you step into a cabin. Look up, and you’ll spot familiar faces sailing overhead: Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Jigglypuff and Gengar decorating the outside of the cabins, as if they’re travelling with you from hilltop to island.
Each cabin is fully themed inside as well — not just a sticker on the window. Think seats, walls and even the floor designed around a particular Pokémon’s personality. A Pikachu cabin might feel bright and energetic, while a Gengar ride leans more mischievous and mysterious.
You’re not just commuting to Sentosa — you’re gliding over the harbour in a moving photo studio! Snap a cute family selfie with Pikachu ‘riding’ along, capture dreamy couple shots with Eevee for those soft-aesthetic vibes, or go full chaotic with your friends in a Gengar cabin. Every ride is a photo moment waiting to happen!
With panoramic views of the city skyline and Sentosa’s attractions below, it’s very easy to turn a simple cable car ride into a highlight of your weekend.

By Night: A Glow-in-the-Dark Pokémon Hunt in the Clouds
Come evening, the whole experience shifts into high gear. From 7.45 pm onwards, the cable car ride turns into a celestial treasure hunt. Guests receive a complimentary UV torch as they board, and that’s when the fun begins. Shine the light around your cabin and watch as UV-reactive Pokémon silhouettes slowly emerge from the dark.
The five familiar friends from the day — Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Jigglypuff and Gengar — make a reappearance. Still, they’re joined by a squad of flying-type Pokémon hidden in the artwork: Gyarados, Pidgeot, Charizard, Dragonite and Aerodactyl. Kids will love sweeping the torch over every corner to “spot” them all, and honestly, so will most adults.
For the truly determined, there’s an extra challenge: somewhere among the cabins, Mew is hiding. Long regarded in the Pokémon world as an almost mythical creature, Mew only reveals itself to those who manage to find its cabin. It’s a small moment of magic — the kind of “Did we really just see that?” memory that sticks long after the ride is over.
The Adventure Starts (and Ends) at Mount Faber Peak
Before you even board, Mount Faber Peak sets the tone with photo spots featuring the first-generation starter Pokémon. Expect larger-than-life figures and setups that practically beg to be on your social feed.
Think of it as a pre-ride warm-up: snap your family photos, let the kids run around a little, then step into your themed cabin. When you return from Sentosa, it’s a chance to grab a few last shots and stretch your legs before heading home.

Turn Your Ride into a Social Challenge: Snap, Tag & Win
If your phone is never far from your hand, you’ll want to lean into the official Snap, Tag & Win contest on Instagram and TikTok.
Contest period (1 – 31 December 2025):
– Step 1: Post a daytime photo or video of yourself in the cable car with any Pokémon.
– Step 2: Post a nighttime photo or video with Mew in the cabin.
– Step 3: Tag @MountFaberLeisure and make sure your account is set to public.
Across the month, 25 winners will be picked, five each week, to receive a Pokémon Gift Pack. Winners are announced at the start of the following week, keeping the excitement going throughout December.
It’s the kind of contest that nudges you to experience both sides of the adventure: the bright, cheerful daytime ride and the mysterious, glowing night journey.
