Among the outpouring of condolences and tributes for Singapore’s longest serving President Mr SR Nathan, one particular photo drew our attention.
This photo shows him sitting relaxed next to an embracing couple. For the curious, this image was shot at East Coast Park by photographer Alwin Lim of LightedPixels Photography.
The couple happened to see the former President of Singapore on his daily walk and took the opportunity to ask him to grace the photo. He graciously obliged.
As we remember Mr SR Nathan, this photo also reminds us what a down-to-earth, kind and warm man he was.
