A charming yet buzzing haunt blossoming in the heartlands, Holland Village is Singapore’s oldest bohemian enclave that has received heaps of attention in recent years.
But many pass through and pass by this neighbourhood without paying attention to its hidden stories from years bygone; tales of the past today still ring within its residential and commercial estates.

OH! Open House, which organises art tours within Singapore’s estates, is back this year with a focus on Holland Village’s people, stories and history. Visitors can purchase an admission pass and embark on one, two or three of our art tours, held every Saturday and Sunday from 4-15 Mar.
On each of these 45 minute-long tours – which cover the famous Chip Bee Gardens, the Hakka Cemetery and various government flats along Holland Drive – participants will be invited into real houses and hidden spaces in Holland Village that have been transformed by artists.
Passes are now available at $25 each. More information here.
