When not shaking things up in the entertainment industry, Ang spreads positivity with her social media mantra: Be encouraging, be nice, share good things and good news.
Her optimism is reflected in her remark about Singapore: “Our history is very short but I’m excited to be a part of it. We all have to create history together,” she says.
Irene Ang is the executive producer of My Love, Sinema. It is scheduled for release on 8 Sept.
A version of this article appeared in the print edition of Weekender, Issue 158, August 5 – August 18, 2016, with the headline ‘Down memory lane with Irene Ang’.
