Come Friday March 9, Asia's leading sustainable light art festival i Light Marina Bay will return to light up the bay area with 22 enthralling light installations showcased around the Marina Bay waterfront and the Esplanade Park. A myriad of activities will also complement the light installations at not one, but four main festival hubs, namely the Art-Zoo Inflatable Park at The Float, GastroBeats at The Promontory, the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival at the Bayfront Event Space, and the ILLUMI Bar at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza.
Expect a series of exciting line-ups (some of which charges may apply) from family-bonding games, music performances to art workshops. The light installations are entirely free though, and here are five Insta-worthy highlights we think you shouldn't miss:

If you find yourself feeling a little peckish after a couple of the light installations, why not pop by the ILLUMI Bar located at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza? The LED-lit pop-up lifestyle space makes it debut at i Light Marina Bay this year, and welcomes everyone to gather at this illuminated (and incredibly Instagrammable) lounge for drinks and food, music performances, and Marina Bay Sands’ free outdoor light and water show Spectra.
Over at The Promontory, an interactive ILLUMI space is all set up to provide an interactive experience on top of snapping away at the light installations. The neon playground showcases giant glowing installations of popular games such as Twister, Hopscotch, Jenga, and Tic-Tac-Toe for the public to enjoy.
The ILLUMI space will culminate in the ILLUMI FEST RUN 2018 on 31 March, as it transforms into the race village where runners can look forward to a spectacular selection of activities to
illuminate their race experience. The unique glowing running experience will see participants doused in shades of neon glow water and transformed into luminous, moving pieces of a living,
multicoloured artwork as they make their way along the Marina Bay waterfront.
