KADA Maxwell: New Lifestyle Hub With Heritage Charm, Dining, Fitness & Co-Living

KADA Maxwell, Singapore’s newest lifestyle hub, has officially opened its doors in a beautifully preserved 101-year-old heritage building—the former St Andrew’s Mission Hospital—right next to Maxwell Hawker Centre.

This “oasis in the city,” a sister concept to the well-loved Margaret Market, offers a diverse range of 18 experiences across four levels, encompassing restaurants and cafés, a specialized post-workout muscle recovery studio, a boutique pilates studio, a fully equipped gym, an art appreciation space, and 18 co-living rooms.

The building itself, with its unique triangular atrium and Singapore’s oldest electric lift built in 1929, contributes to this unique space’s charm and historical significance. KADA aims to foster a strong sense of community and meaningful connections, providing a sanctuary where individuals can seamlessly transition between work, leisure, and personal well-being.

Level 1: Food & Beverage

The ground floor of KADA is a haven for food and beverage enthusiasts, showcasing a diverse array of homegrown cafes and restaurants. Whether one is seeking specialty coffee and tea at Pacto by Parchmen, a unique “coffee omakase” experience at Kyuukei (“rest” in Japanese), healthy bites at Kit & Kaboodle (which collaborates with the Limitless Performance gym), or wine-infused coffee at Echo, there’s something to tantalize every palate.

Kyuukei Coffee (#01-04)

Kyuukei Coffee, with its second outlet after Bukit Merah, offers a curated “coffee omakase” experience, pairing carefully roasted coffee with delectable food items. Pacto by Parchmen, a specialty coffee and tea house by Parchmen & Co (a roastery, bakery, and barista training academy), roasts its own beans and sources teas, supplying them to Michelin-starred restaurants. KADA marks their sixth, award-winning location. Echo, aptly named for its reflection of modern desires – “Workday and rest, coffee, matcha, tea” – features wine-flavored, locally roasted coffee and literary-themed coffee bags. Their specialty drinks include cold brew vanilla cream, espresso tonic with passionfruit, and the popular strawberry matcha. Kit & Kaboodle, KADA’s F&B concierge, provides refreshing morning options.

Origin Tea, Haus, Shou & Daikoku, D’Penyetz Heritage, and Lavi Tapas Bar further enhance the ground floor’s culinary landscape. Origin Tea offers a refreshing Triple Citrus Jasmine Tea, a delightful blend of green tea, jasmine, and seasonal citrus fruits.

Haus (#01-05)

Haus provides a relaxed atmosphere with a carefully curated wine list spanning global regions, complemented by cheese, their famous cheesecake, bruschettas, and the indulgent Baked Camembert. Their Wine Flight offers a global tasting experience. Shou & Daikoku operates as a dual-concept restaurant, serving delicate dim sum (Shou) during the day and transforming into a Sendai-themed yakitori izakaya (Daikoku) at night, helmed by Sendai native Chef Kumagai Yoshihiro.

Level 2: Wellness & Fitness

The second floor of KADA is dedicated to wellness and fitness, housing Limitless Performance gym, Satori pilates studio, Eternami longevity medicine center, Shiruki Studio, and Limitless Physiotherapy. Limitless Performance, a state-of-the-art gym, provides personalized training programs and sunrise/sunset bootcamps, operating from 6 am to 9 pm on Mondays and 7 am to 9 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 7 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. Satori offers reformer and mat pilates classes to strengthen and tone the body. Eternami, a healthspan center advised by Professor Dean Ho, utilizes AI and cutting-edge technology to create personalized longevity regimens.

Shiruki Studio (#02-01)

Shiruki Studio offers rejuvenating ice baths, infrared sauna, and hydrotherapy for muscle recovery, promoting a “silky” life through preventive healthcare practices. Finally, Limitless Physiotherapy, affiliated with Limitless Performance, offers expert rehabilitation, injury prevention, and body transformation services.

Habyt

Level 3: Co-Living at Habyt

The third floor of KADA houses Habyt KADA @ Maxwell, providing co-living spaces with exclusive access to the Limitless gym on Level 2, encouraging a healthy lifestyle for its residents.

Closed on Sundays by Lil’ Palette Art Space (#04-01)

Level 4: Art & Private Dining

The top floor of KADA is a hub for art and private dining, featuring Closed on Sundays by Lil’ Palette Art Space, Proud Potato Peeler Mediterranean Restaurant (by reservation), Alani bakery, and the soon-to-open Proud Perfect Potions bar. Closed on Sundays offers parent-child art therapy and art classes for individuals of all ages, adding to KADA’s vibrant and rejuvenating atmosphere.

Community & Events

KADA Maxwell emphasizes synergy and collaboration among its tenants. Habyt residents enjoy access to the gym and art classes, while the gym collaborates with Kit & Kaboodle for healthy food options. Proud Potato Peeler will curate special menus for rooftop events. Beyond the individual offerings, KADA provides a variety of event spaces, including the rooftop, atrium, lounge, and lawn, suitable for diverse occasions. Boutique fairs and pop-ups are also held regularly.
