4. New Pangolin Trail and Bull Elephant Habitat at Night Safari
The Night Safari in Singapore has recently unveiled two exciting additions: the Pangolin Trail and the bull elephant habitat. The Pangolin Trail is a 280-meter-long sheltered walkway that allows visitors to observe nocturnal animals like the elusive Sunda pangolin, slow loris, binturong, and oriental small-clawed otter in their natural habitat. This trail is a great opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures and appreciate their role in the ecosystem.
Besides the Pangolin Trail, the Night Safari has opened a new bull elephant habitat for Chawang, the park’s iconic Asian elephant. The habitat features enrichment features like a “stable grazer” that releases hay randomly, encouraging Chawang to forage more actively. Visitors can now observe Chawang from a new look-out deck, providing a closer and more immersive experience.
