From Runway to Orbit: Singapore Airshow 2026 Launches Aviation Into The Space Age

The Singapore Airshow, one of the world’s most influential aerospace and defence exhibitions, is set to return from 3–8 February 2026 at the Changi Exhibition Centre.

This milestone event marks its 10th edition, celebrating two decades of shaping the future of flight and serving as a key gateway to the Asia Pacific market.

For the first time, the Airshow is expanding its focus beyond the atmosphere with the introduction of Space Summit 2026. Held on 2 to 3 February 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, the Summit is officially endorsed by Singapore’s Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn) and the EDB. The event will gather global policymakers and innovators to discuss infrastructure, sustainability, and the growing in-space economy, which McKinsey projects to reach US$1.8 trillion by 2035. This addition firmly positions Singapore as the Asia-Pacific hub for space dialogue and collaboration.

Trade attendees can expect over 1,000 participating companies from more than 50 countries. Industry giants like Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Rolls-Royce will return. Critically, the event will also feature next-generation defence technology innovators such as Helsing, Quantum, and Shield AI.

Country representation remains strong, with expanded pavilions from the Italian Trade Agency and the China Pavilion, alongside nations including the US, UK, France, Germany, Japan, and Korea.

Sustainability remains a core theme for the 2026 Airshow. The event will spotlight initiatives and technologies that are moving aviation toward decarbonization, with a sharp focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Neste, a global leader in renewable fuels, joins as the Sustainable Aviation Partner.

Innovation will also be highlighted through the returning What’s Next startup showcase. The exhibition floor will feature expanded zones dedicated to digital aviation, sustainable propulsion, and future defence technologies, fostering crucial connections between established OEMs and emerging technology start-ups.

The event welcomes the public during Weekend@Airshow on 7 and 8 February 2026. Visitors can look forward to spectacular aerial performances by aircraft and a static display of the latest commercial and military aircraft.

Tickets are now available via SISTIC. Prices are set at S$39 for adults and S$19 for children (aged 3 to 12). Additionally, it costs S$250 for a group package (four tickets plus one car park label).

Leading up to the main event, the Changi Aviation Summit 2026 will gather senior government officials and industry leaders on 2 February 2026 to discuss building a resilient and sustainable aviation ecosystem for the future.
