You’ve tried escape rooms, but have you tried escaping an island?

Here’s a piece of good news for anybody who loves a mean escape room adventure.
The Escape Artist has partnered with Singapore Cable Car to launch an escape room-style adventure on Sentosa Island.
Available from 12 Jun till 2 Jul, the adventure will see participants racing against time to gather The Four Guardians and release Cassius, who needs your help.
The game kicks off at The Merlion Cable Car Station and participants are required to travel along various stops on the Sentosa Cable Car line to find clues to solve the mystery.
Just in case you were wondering how the clues will be given — the game play will be a web-based.
Clues will be released online and they can be solved using the various landmarks around the cable car stations.
Here’s a tip: Turn on your GPS, as the locations are designed to give hints when you get closer to your clues.
Plus, hints are given along the way just in case you get stuck — when truly desperate, give the emergency whatsapp line a buzz and help will arrive!
The route will take you all around Sentosa, making it perfect for one to enjoy bird’s eye views of the island while stumbling across hidden gems.
While designed for kids 12 and above, the game will delight the whole family while letting them explore Sentosa.
Each team will consist four to six persons, with the game suitable for both escape room enthusiasts and first-timers.
Be prepared to really work your brains and try to think out of the box.
From visual associations to spotting letters, the puzzles are all designed to challenge your wits.
We tried the game ourselves, and realised that it sounded much easier than it actually was!
Remember to stock up on drinks and snacks as loads of walking can be expected, especially earlier in the day where you have to brave the sun.
Our biggest tip? Refer to the map that is in your online inventory whenever you get lost.
